Power amplifier drive coil realizes LED light lighting test
Release time :2023.09.25 Reading quantity:525

LED (Light Emitting Diode) is a solid-state semiconductor device that can convert electrical energy into visible light. It can directly convert electrical energy into light energy. For such applications, Saluki uses a power amplifier to drive the coil to complete the LED lamp lighting test.

Test equipment: signal generator, SLA-100-360 power amplifier, oscilloscope, pair of mutual induction coils, LED lights

Principle of inductance effect:
An excitation signal (sine wave) is provided to the power amplifier through a signal generator. The power amplifier outputs a large current and loads it on the coil. When the current passes through the coil, a magnetic field induction is formed in the coil. The induced magnetic field will generate an induced current to resist passing through the coil. the current in. This interaction between current and coil is called electrical inductive reactance.
When two inductor coils are close to each other, the change in the magnetic field of one inductor coil will affect the other inductor coil. This effect is called mutual inductance. The size of mutual inductance depends on the degree of coupling between the self-inductance of the inductor coil and the two inductor coils. The component made using this principle is called a mutual inductor.

Experiment procedure:
The function signal generator outputs a 67KHz, 3Vp-p sinusoidal signal. The voltage signal is amplified by the SLA-100-360 power amplifier, and a coil is given a large current to drive. By changing the distance between the driving coil and the receiving coil, an inductance is generated. Effect, thereby generating different electric fields to control the brightness of LED lights.

Test Results:
The SLA-100-360 is used to provide a large current to the coil to drive the coil, causing an inductance effect between the coils, thereby realizing wireless charging and lighting up the LED.

The performance of the amplifier in this experiment: outputting high power and driving the coil.
