The SDR-S2975 is a high-performance embedded SDR standalone device consisting of an on-board processor, FPGA, and RF front-end. The RF front-end utilizes the AD9361 RF transceiver supporting 2×2 MIMO frequency coverage from 70 MHz to 6 GHz with bandwidth up to 56 MHz.
The Baseband processing is performed on a reconfigurable Zynq 7020 IC, which combines the Xilinx 7 series FPGA and an integrated dual-core ARM A9 processor running the Linux operating system. Like all USRP devices, the open-source software architecture provides cross-platform support and USRP hardware drivers (UHD). UHD supports most applications and SDR frameworks such as GNU Radio.
