OCXO (recommended for usrp-sx310, sx300)
This is an onboard GPS signal synchronization device, which uses a thermostatic crystal oscillator. It can be compatible with USRP-SX300 or SX310 and can also be used in USRP-SB200 / b210, but the system needs external power supply. Gpsdo provides high precision 10MHz lo and 1PPS signals, which can greatly improve the frequency accuracy and the application of global timing arrangement.
Due to the use of constant temperature crystal oscillator, power consumption is relatively large, generally recommended for USRP x310, X300.
TCXO (recommended for usrp-sb210)
The on-board gpsdo (TCXO) is a clock source module for USRP-SB210 and SB200 to synchronize GPS signals. A temperature compensated crystal oscillator is used. Gpsdo provides high precision 10MHz lo and 1PPS signals, which can greatly improve frequency accuracy (75ppb when GPS signal is not locked) and global time synchronization (50ns, GPS locked state).
The product uses temperature compensation and crystal oscillator, and has low power consumption. When it is used with USRP B200 / b210, it does not need to connect external power supply, but uses USB 3.0 power supply.
