Mechanical Calibration Kit is the tool used to calibrate the vector network analyzer (VNA) before measurement.

Measurement calibration of VNA is a process to determine the system errors according to the standards of the existing measurement characteristics and then eliminate the influence of system errors during the measurement of the tested device. It can help to reduce the measurement error and improve the measurement accuracy of the analyzer. Therefore, the VNA setting must be calibrated regularly.

Both Saluki SCKCL26-3.5 and Keysight 85052D mechanical calibration kits contain precision standard devices to calibrate vector network analyzers in the 3.5mm interface.
